Moritex offers ring type light guides of both glass and plastic fiber types in a range of lengths and diameters. Customers can also request SUS flexible tube material as well as SUS flexible plus PVC tube material and special heat resistant ends. The 360° lighting creates even light with no shadows that is perfect for applications using CCD cameras and microscopes.
Straight Light Guides
Moritex offers many variations of the regular straight type light guides. You can select a product to fit your application with the follow options:
·Glass or Plastic Fiber Type, Bundle diameter of 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, or 10mm, Interlocking, SUS flexible, and SUS flexible plus PVC tube materials
·Special functions such as 300°C heat resistant ends, small diameter, random sequence, and L-shape types. These light guides can be powered by Moritex"s light sources and utilized for the episcopic coaxial illumniation feature common on our Machine Micro Lenses.
Bifurcated Light Guides
Moritex"s Bifurcated Light Guides are used for lighting from two directions when using a microscope and/or CCD camera for applications like pattern recognition. You can select a product to fit your purpose with the follow options:
·Glass or Plastic fiber type, Special coatings can be selected, Small diameter type with smaller minimum bend values are also available, Interlocking, SUS flexible, SUS flexible plus PVC tube, and SUS flexible plus interlock type tube materials, Special functions such as 300°C heat resistant ends, small diameter, random sequence, and L-shape types.
·These light guides can be powered by Moritex"s light sources and utilized for the episcopic coaxial illumniation feature common on our Machine Micro Lenses. The interlock and SUS flexible type tube materials, mentioned above, allow for fixed placement and free movement, respectively, in applications.
Multifurcated Light Guides
Moritex"s Multifurcated Light Guides have three or four terminating fiber bundles and are good when illuminating an object from many different angles. This would be valuable during pin inspection of a flat package. Options include:
·Number of branches (3 or 4) ·Bundle diameter at output side (3mm or 4mm) ·Various lengths ·Small diameter type
These light guides can be powered by Moritex"s light sources and utilized for the episcopic coaxial illumniation of 3 or 4 lenses.
Plate type Light Guide
The plate lighting light guide comes in a variety of sizes of illuminating area with 1500mm length cable. It does not require as much space as other light guides because it is thin and compact. Moritex"s unique reflection light inducer allows for even, bright illumination. It can be used for multi-observation inspections where transmitting illumination and uniform illumination are needed.
Line Light Guides
Moritex line (slit type) light guides can be used when line illumination or one-dimensional linear CCD camera lighting are necessary. The light guide cable length is 1500mm. The options include:
·Glass or plastic fiber type, A line length of 50mm or 180mm, Single or bifurcated configuration.
Ultra-Uniform Line Fibre Illumination
Moritex offers Long Width Slit Type Light Guides to be used in LCD and PDP glass substrate inspection, sheet type product inspection, and othe rline CCD camera applications. The 180mm wide slit type light guide can be connected to achieve jointless, even, and bright slit light in lengths of 180mm multiples. Long width light guides from 360mm to 1,440mm can be manufactured. Both glass and plastic fiber guides are available.
Dome-type Light Guide
The fiber emission from the 360 degree internal facing of the lower area inside the dome is reflected on the dome surface.
IR Light Guide
The MSG4-1100S-HR is a special heat resistant fiber light guide that has been made for use with our IR light source
UV Quartz Light Guides
In addition to our standard light guides used for Halogen and Metal Halide lighting, Moritex offers light guides for use with UV light. These light guides are available in 1, 2, 3, or 4 lines, ring type, and line type configurations. Depending on the transmission you need, there are quartz and glass fiber guides available in 3mm and 4mm bundle diameters and in different lengths
